What's Cooking? Good Looking!

September 2020

Business picking up.

It was overall a good month, one thing that been a little too hard, just like in August are the customers.
I will share a story:
Had a table of three guys. They ordered food and drinks, two bottomless mimosa.
Everything was great. They were happy with food and service.
The problem was when the bill came. One guy didn’t want to pay for the mimosa.
I went to the table to find out what the issue was. First the customer though that mimosa served with vodka, and then he said he didn’t like it, as he admits he had a glass and a half of mimosa.
So I said, kindly, why didn’t you let us know on the first 5 sips, He had nothing to say, besides that even his friend that sitting with them ( the third guy that didn’t order mimosa ) drink from it.
My goal was not to let them go without paying for a drink they had. I answered. I should charge you for another mimosa because this is a drink per person, but I won’t do it, I just have to ask you to pay for yours.
The customer look deeply into my eyes and said, sure, not a problem.
I was happy inside, smiled, and said thank you!
Now, I wonder why?!
Why customers being hard on businesses, especially these days?!
I really hope it’ll change soon, and we all go back to normal!
(This scenario happen during the year just not as often)
Hopefully, October will be nicer and better to all of us.
